Legacy Poem by lady grace

Legacy

Rating: 4.6

as you trace my lonely image
and paint my gloomy eyes
you feel my warm-heart embraces
from the portrait in your mind

and when the shadows merge to darkness
hides the sweet hungry lips
conceal electrifying beats
felt by two longing hearts

and when I fold another page
from the book of empty leaves
i saw not only my shadow but ours
in the portrait of their minds

and when I fold another page / from the book of empty leaves i saw not only my shadow but ours in the portrait of their minds How did you write such line... in the portrait of their mind..... Poet, please try to think you yourself again, portrait of mind........posiible! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! May be possible when a poet shows it to us.....Yet...... Individual being merged with duality by the thread, simply an unseen communication, which we commonly express as LOVE. And you have won my vote by heart. Thanks your imagery of volcanic 'hungry sweet lips'. But thats now hidden in empty page. we the reader now have to draw it alone. Regards, 10++++++ pranab

I believe this poem to be based on echos and shadows of the past present and future of a couple.
