Let me learn

One day,
we will find
that we can learn
from our past mistakes
and even find power to thank
for having chance of doing them...
But we need time to touch that point...
Sufferings might be the harshest teacher
Yet sometimes could mould the softer souls...
Time, we may also need to offer it to those in pain...
The offering of only one minute could be enough to save a life...
Can we find a way to reach those in unbearable pain before too late?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I thought of the shape as walking down stairs, because sometimes feel the need to step down in order to find that bit of space that a soul needs to sit and rest.. My mind is tight, cramped with lots of garbage but when I walk down into my soul gradually the space become wider and it feels like finding some sort of a paradox, containing mostly everything yet plenty, lots of free space. Same as the Japanese crowded streets that sometimes I walk, no matter how many people, there is always space to move in whatever direction I would want to follow or turn. I suppose the way of moving consciously careful for others rather than self creates that magic, air of feel nice and safe..
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Challenging and compelling, and I love the visual construct. Much truth herein contained. Sometimes our most effective instruction is introduced in the crucible of suffering. A common but somewhat flawed aspect of humanity. Thank you for this provocative piece.
