Let Not The Sun - Poem by Laurie hill

Let not the sun, go down on today,
hear my prayer Lord, hear my Prayer.
For tonight the shadows will come
and all that is mine will be gone.

Let not the falling shadows trace,
a pattern on her ashen face
And on her quiet shallow breath,
a sigh of life and coming death.

Let not the sun, go down on today,
hear my prayer Lord, hear my Prayer.
For tonight the shadows will come
and all that is mine will be gone.

    =========================================
    Breathlessness of moments before the dashing storm.
    A very sincere prayer to the Almighty to hold the breaths.
