Let's Slay Santa Tonight! Poem by Daniel Ionita

Let's Slay Santa Tonight!

The children, oh those little darlings
are waiting for Christmas joyful and sprite -
oh! baby! my baby, my sweetie
let's slay Santa, slash his throat tonight!

The city, shop windows aglow
with bright Christmas lights shining bright -
sugar pie, wouldn't it be awesome
to shake Santa on high voltage tonight?

Let's buy the biggest Christmas tree
tie it down with a rope, make it tight -
honey-bear, my angel, my pumpkin,
let us hang Santa from its branches tonight!

Old grandma's cooking up a storm
for our Christmas dinner, what a sight!
But let's go to the kitchen my lovely,
and let's bake Santa crispy for tonight.

The fireworks are blasting up, my treasure...
filling the children with awe and delight.
But you, my precious, get hold of the gun,
and blast Santa! Blow his brains tonight.

And once we are sure he's dead, my sweetheart
We'll confess to the children, looking sad and contrite,
That Santa's got sick of bloody toys and rain-deer,
and mercifully killed himself this Christmas night.
