Let You Go Poem by Kate Lechoe

Let You Go

Rating: 4.0

Every part of me is not acknowledging your absence,
But I have to let you go.
It has taken me much longer to accept this.
Maybe your love was like wind,
I was only meant to feel it and not have it.
All in all, you'll always be in my mind,
Just like a tragic incident sticks on a traumatized mind.
Maybe we were not meant for each other,
But if we are, then I'll be waiting for your return,
The way the flowers wait for summer to blossom.
I'll never stop loving you, but only learn to live without you.

This seems like a one way love which never works. Take heart may be he was never meant to be yours and after the hump, the road is smooth. Nice write

Some people are to be a part of us for a while to learn from and to prepare us for a greater tomorrow when the time comes to let go, it's important to know it and let go.

True indeed. We are meant to meet some people on the way and leave them but meet others and walk with them..
