You promised me that you would stay.
You said you would never go away.
You promised to always be by my side.
Then you took back your word, and died.
You left me, scared, and all alone
You left me, by myself in this big ole’ home
With a big ole’ empty bed.
(You left me, you were dead!)
You died and you were gone,
And now I am not so strong.
Why did you this wrong?
A promise is comfort to a fool!
I should have never trusted you…
