Life’s True Colors Poem by Walterrean Salley

Life’s True Colors

Rating: 3.9

Life’s not all the glitz and glamour
That it’s hyped to be,
And often shows its true colors
To both you and me.

A cold, flu, or tummy ache
is only a mild start;
But, oh, when it reaches
The true matters of the heart.

The glitz always dims
And the glamor always fades,
But, still, life is beautiful
In its many shades.
