Life's Twist Poem by gina layog

Life's Twist

time fast approaching,
it dawn on me suddenly,
the pendulum of reality,
swinging into the inevitability,
it all comes down to this,
its all coming to a head,
hiding, I cannot afford,
I no longer can avoid,
the endless plausibility,
that no longer holds water,
waiting for a recess in the ground,
would swallow me down, and still the voices around,
this flood that burst through my head,
feel the pain that steeply pulses like lead,
silence the only mark that I exist,
My life that only thing that is consistent,
sacrificial pyre, that proves the twist,
the asylum, I seek to be off the living list.....
