Life, Wars, And Peace Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

Life, Wars, And Peace

Life remains sweet and pretty
Until a certain war breaks out suddenly
Hindering any possibility of any pretty peace,
In life itself
We can not equalize any pretty peace
With any ugly war at all,
A war always brings disorder, havoc, and
Destruction,
People can not choose peace
If warmongers go all the way long
Towards their bad purposes,
Peaceful people seek the other way, but
Their efforts go hopelessly
Every time any war breaks out suddenly,
All wars' horrors are greatly rejected
By all good people anywhere,
Life is double-faced with any war and
With any peace
Whereas we have to choose either a war or
Any pretty peace,
There is not possibility for any ugly war
With peaceful people, but
It remains an ugly possibility with
Those ugly warmongers anywhere,
There is not any pretty equality
Between an ugly war
With any pretty peace at all
Simply because that's the way
With them anytime, anywhere, and everywhere,
Life is pretty and even sweet
Unless some human beings meddle
With its tools just
To make efforts either to build or
To destroy everyone and
Even everything around us.
