Light Poem by Alvin Schaut

Light

From the early morning dark to the early morning dawn.
The sky becoming lighter as the moon and stars seem as if to fade away.

Yet the rising sunrise is the beginning of a day.
A welcome sight, the rising sun, light and warmth throughout the day.

Albeit cloudy, rain or snow filled days, the nights can be so cold.
Yet the sunlight, moonlight and star lights are there to behold.

In time the light of day will slowly fade away to mark the end of the day.
For the moonlight and star lights will soon appear.
Although at times the nights can be so dark.
The moon and stars seem so bright, lighting up the sky, to even show us the way.
To give one solace on a cold winters night.

For no matter what the time of year, day or night, there will always be the sunlight, the moonlight, the star lights.
For everyone, truly wonders to be seen.
