From the top of a snow capped peak
Light tumbles down, slow and weak
Over tree tops it flies away to the dale
Like an early bird with a golden tail
It touches the water of the stream
Where in small fishes merrily swim
It dances with small tides for a while
Flattening and stretching for over a mile
The play goes on till the sun woke up
Seeing the worms birds begin to hop
The earth shines with a flood of light
That falls with a color of milky white
Rubbing her eyes she leaves the bed
To light the hearth and clean homestead
In child's mind hangs grandma's story
Dawn has descended with all its glory
