Light Source Lover Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Light Source Lover

Be the oasis
Of a star born sobriety
Shining unconditional love
Beaming beauty
From the source
Of your eyes
The portal
To a soul
Shining unlimited
Salvation
By the skies blessing
Of analmighty
Utopian delight

May I have died
And gone
Into your haven
Only to be reborn
Into air
Flying up
High into
A more profound
Brand new life

May your heart
Soul and mind,
Your all
Be my paradise?

Take me
You, the stars
The beauty of it all
Be the rebirth
Of a profound force
Within this flame
Burning for change
Shining internally bright

Will you love me
For the myriadof flaws
I left behind?

The past is dark
The future so full of light

Hold me
Never let me go

Angel, with troubled wings
Grab me
And let us both
Fly to new heights

I am ready
Are you?

Light source lover..
I am hopelessly
In love with you

Will I ever be good enough?
