Don't we
All like
Trees?
We admire them
For their beauty,
Tenacity, resilience
And endurance....
Exposed to
The elements,
And the vagaries
Of nature, they all
Suffer in silence,
With immense
Patience and
Tolerance....
They
Don't
Speak
They
Keep
Mum
If all women
Were like
Trees,
Perhaps
Men would
Like them
More, as they
Prefer complete
Obedience and
Obeisance.
But if we were
All like trees,
Who would
Protest, who
Would resist,
Who would rebel,
Who would make
Changes, and who
Would get the job
Done?
