Like The River



I am like the river ever widening
as I drift along life’s road

Being tossed about never knowing
what tomorrow might bring

I'm strong I'm weak
I rage I cry
but I refuse to give in to life’s misery

Until the day I reach the bittersweet end
of my life’s journey
