A Spanish grandee of Havana,
Who stepped on a bit of banana.
Came down in the mud
With a dull, sickening thud.
While the band played, 'The Star-
Spangled Banner.'

धरती पर वह आन गिरे,
होश फ़ाख्ता हुये निरे,
तभी बैंड ने गीत बजाया 'सदा रहे यह राज.'

Who stepped on a bit of banana. Came down in the mud With a dull, sickening thud. very interesting poem. stepping on a banana peal and falling down in front of others when the bank play. goes on........ thank u dear poet. tony
