Little Poem by Danette Frenz

Little

I just want to go back in time.
What do you think I will find?
A little girl so full of wonder.
A voice so strong, booming thunder.

Playing pat-a-cake,
mud pies to bake.
Sitting in my little tee-pee.
Riding a stick horse up and down,
Twirling her dress ‘round and around.

I just want to be a little girl again.
Being grown up drives me insane.
I miss you…
My little you…
But found out…I grew.
