Don't be afraid
To
Disconnect yourself
From all that gives you grief
All that holds you back
And all you do not need
When the orchestra of life
Plays a heavy tune
When
The symphony of life
Echo's hard
Only you know
Its time to change the station
Time to find a new door
Live your own life
Accept
This journey
This journey of you
Live those answers
You Gave to others
Before
It is too late
For
This journey
Is often not shared
The Orchestra of life
Does play a heavy piece
Do not be afraid to decline.....
Those front row seats

Wise words, Lyn. Good advice, given freely, should always be given consideration. Experience can sometimes exact a heavy cost. A very well written piece, good reasoning cleverly penned.
Yes! ! And all that you do not need. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
I am amazed the way you come with beautiful lessons of life in the beautiful platter of your poetry. Good write.
Great poem...Even better advice. It often seems easier to dispense than to live up to. My orchestra is jamming the rock opera, Tommy today. : -)
Live those answers you gave to others.....Not only wise words, but perfectly phrased to make your point. I love your ability to convey emotion with few words. Surely a sign of understanding your content. Always a big fan of your work.
At times we have to shut a door behind and open a new door! Whether life is shared or not, one has to live one's life in dignity! Though painful, we are sometimes forced to change stations when the orchestra becomes jarring! An allusive write!
