Because He sealed the transaction
Paid on the Cross at Calvary
I am assured of my Salvation,
By His Spirit's testimony.

Because His Word confirms it,
Not my mind or my emotions-
Not by my righteous acts or merit
But through His Mercy, I have Redemption.

Because each day His work goes on
Into His image I am transformed
I rest assured when this life is done
In Christ I will live, in Him conformed.

His Son is my very own Intercessor,
Forever He lives to pray for me!
I am His child, His valued treasure
He alone has the Power to save completely.
