Living In A World Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Living In A World

Politics have become tricks to play,
On people duped to dumped them displayed.
And nowhere today,
Can anyone run to escape from this.
To try to avoid or duck from being
abducted,
By crime and its corruption.
As it becomes normalized.
And accepted as part of our everyday lives

We are...
Living in a World,
When truth to hear it has become suspicious.

We are...
Living in a World,
When truth to wish it can not be predicted.

Politics have become tricks,
Played on people duped to dump them.
And no one can from this escape.
Since trusting has become dysfunctioned.

We...
Are living in a World,
In which thieves have become our enemies.
Yes we...
Are everyday deceived,
By those we once believed were of good deeds.
Now...
We are left suspicious where we sit.
In a World to live in.
We are left suspicious by misfits.
