London Tour De France 2014 Poem by Manonton Dalan

London Tour De France 2014

thousands lips; thousands hands
line-up sidewalk as hundreds spokes
come whizzing by and roar of a crowd
not far from bell tower; giant wheel
by river we all know and bridge too
they raised thier hands for instagram

local hero wasn't there; crushed early
after the tunnel it's sprint to finish
with cheers, screams and jubilations
marcel kittle took the front again
peter sagan is behind him for second time
beneath a grey sky and quacking of the raven
