Loneliness Poem by Noah Body

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

It's a lonely life for me
Alone I can't help but be

Days stretch out ahead
When I can't get out of bed

Endless days endlessly alone
For all that I must atone

I've screwed the pooch for good
That first must be understood

This is all my fault I must admit
There's no one else to blame for it

But who knew such loneliness could exist
Who knew I could be so easily dismissed

Life is lonely when one is so alone
Come on someone throw me a bone

There has to a person out there for me
For so lonely I can't always be

Alone is the worst state a heart can be in
Standing outside life trying to see in

Human hearts were not meant to be alone
I cry out to no one with a groan

A sad poem, full of pathos, Loneliness that engulfs you with darkness, written most effectively.

Sometimes we have to change our lives just to find what we are truly looking for. A beautiful, sensitive write. Keep smiling.
