Look Foward Poem by Viola Grey

Look Foward

Rating: 3.5

Promise of a new beginning
wrapped around your finger,
one small quiver-
I'm torn.
How can a heart
so ripped apart
await, so openly,
a new start?
Fear in unknown words
uttered soft as shadows
lingers on a tired soul,
covered, uncovered,
alone in the world
yet wandering - strong.
Somethig immensly true
swims in you,
while in my heart
lies a dense gloom.
Optimistic eyes search
foward into the dark.
A light, caressing
demon dreams,
wraps warm hands around me.
Fear not - they scream -
just dream.
Everything will happen now,
just believe.

'Just dream' and 'just believe' Viola. Your poems have the rare elegance of contained passion and hints at the unleashing of a power that you cannot control. Lovely poem.

alone in the world yet wandering - strong. Something immensely true swims in you awesome My wanton gaze saunters amongst legs of furniture of the multitude of thoughts searching and abandoning just one wishing coin that let me jut in my leg and let your door be ajar for all my wanderings hugs emancipate
