Loss In Love Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

For loss of life and honour, he didn't care
in some of his personal experiences.
But a loss in love that is worthless,
weightless and valueless, sinks him in sorrow.
While reading, eating, walking, sleeping,
gardening and riding a vehicle,
she visits his mind often, without his nod;
seems to tell sorry for her betrayal
though she is not of that kind by nature.

Some lakhs he lost in business and in gambling.
Attempts to murder him had failed
after a long bout of exchanging blows.
First class was denied for no money bribed.
Threats had he ignored and death laughed at.
But his love made a surgical strike
just by a simple message in two lines.
He keeps away from her from that instant.
His heart longs to revive but his mind refuses.
His heart pities for her ignorance
but his mind stands firm againsther arrogance.
By feeling for the loss in love,
fear for the pandemic Covid-19 is gone.

No one can rehabilitate his injured heart!
No one can save his sinking heart!
No one can save his melting heart with passions!
No one can lift his heart up from melancholy!
She, she, she alone can do such wonders!
