Lost And Found Poem by Apolitos Kanenas

Lost And Found

Rating: 3.5

A boy
Once full of innocence
Now just a toy
To Satan
His own choices
And secrets caused his pain
Now he is trapped by voices
Uttering meaningless gibberish
Lost

A girl
Known by many
But hides her terrible swirl
Of emotions
And sin
She acts as any would
But hides her true self in a bin
Her secrecy caused her pain
Lost

Paths cross
The two meet
But have no knowledge
Of each others albatross
Friends they become
Unaware
Of the pain each of them
Bear
Both in need of help
Lost

Until the boy breaks
He cannot live in secrecy
So he sends out his secret for her to take
And she cries
To know that she doesn't need to hide either
And she submits
And the emotional weather
Calms
Found

Before
The boy tried to find his way alone
But not anymore
The girl tried to find herself alone
And got nowhere
Both failed alone
Until they found each other
No one can make it alone
Found

People are still
Lost
So go to the lost and found
And find them
They can't make it alone
I know I couldn't
Not until she came
And I was
Found

Lost
And found
