Lost In Time Poem by T.J. Daniels

I live here
but I'm alive there.

I was alive
in her arms

but they haven't touched me
in years.

And the years
have gotten colder
and my heart has gotten older.

Grown older
gotten colder
as time goes by.

Now the only way I can feel
is to reach back through the years.

But it becomes
harder and harder
to reach
as time goes by.

Now I can't even reach
my arms out
any more.

They've lost their will
to survive

lost in time.
