Love: A Comical Journey Poem by Micheal Olaniyi

Love: A Comical Journey

...Peace is better than love
But when peace gets boring
We subtly love again,
Yet, thirsty of the peace we once had.
Loose or gain? A better bargain?
This is the irony of love
From the abyss of fears.

It comes with its piecemeal joy
Euphoriant dosage of kisses
Dual mechanism of warmth
That you crave for more
Over Paleolithic years
Till the breast turgidity wane
and the glowing face gloom.
So you bury your moans
beneath the throat
And solemnly mourn
"Oh no! Cursed be the heart that love a crone"
For Beauty die. So does love

Love! A smokeless fire;
Paranoid and funny.
Having everyone's heart
Yet a heartless metric space.
Nothing is more comical
To love travelling through time,
It comes in circles,
And as the road bends
The old wheel turns
Twisting the same ancient spoke up again.

A comical feeling
That can make you feel heroic
And oblivion of your foolishness.
It Creates pains in your palm
While on her abusive cheeks
Lies the healing balm,
But don't hit it! caress it
And for that hidden apple,
don't eat it, lick it.
Let her scream "ouch! "
While you moan "yeah! "
Two idiots, lovey-doveys,
There you go again
On a comical love journey,
Where every drama is not boring.
