Love Has Made Me A Fool Of Her's

Love has made me a Fool of her's,
A child in heart and will.
Love has made me a Fool of her's,
Till Death the eyes fulfill.

She has placed a scale on my eyes;
My ears, she filled with wool.
She has dipped my lips in her dyes,
Word I drew from her pool.

My heart beats only to her song;
Her voice, my soul rejoice.
My ears to her alone belong,
Ev'rything else is but noise.

To her betrothed, no other lass
Can tease or sway my will.
Love has made me a fool of her's,
A child in heart and will.
