Love has passed me by again
Left me sitting in puddles of pain
Inside so close to you
Exterior so far away as two

Love you know I did try
And now the hours fly on by
In my heart I slowly bleed
In my mind a mortal seed

Like a blossom in winter
Shriveled and dead I wither
Lonely hope carries me on
To no avail, a listless song

Dreams invade my waking day
Over and over in my head I wished you'd stay
It's cutting me like the proverbial knife
Letting blood within inches of my lonely life

But I would just do it all over
To feel between my toes the soft clover
The feeling of what you are to me
Is nothing short of intellectual ecstasy

So throw me into a pit of sharpened stakes
Fill it with poisonous deadly snakes
Fill it in with water from a thousand lakes
For all that is nothing at all to what I feel now

Losing the grip I had on you
Knowing there's nothing I can do
I wish I was strong enough to lift
Up to the heights of your gift

And take your hand into mine
To hold it for the rest of time
To take you at your worst
And love you like your the first

I wish you could see yourself as I do
Amazingly cute and beautiful too
Your eyes, your smile and your hair
And your thoughts I have come to care

I wanted you to be my wild one
Homeward would be to you I'd come
You are just so wonderful it's true
If you saw my dream girl, it would be you

So please don't leave my life forever
Even though we won't be together
You still light up my gloomy day
Just with anything and everything you say...
