Love In A Glove Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Love In A Glove

Rating: 5.0

The day was cold
As I went out
I put my hand into my glove,
Inside I found
A tiny box
There labeled with the word of 'Love.'

And as I held it
In my hand
I raised the lid and let it go,
It drifted high
Into the air
And on the winds of change did blow.

And like a beam
Of golden sun
It filled the land with joy and peace,
The solemn skies
Did shine again
And every war did gladly cease.

A great imagination you got dear Andrew! LOVE, a four letter word with a thousand meanings behind it and can be interpreted in different ways by everybody! A thought provoking write! Thank you for sharing and keep it up! If you read my just posted poem titled: Where Are You? you will see how I interpret love! 10+++ God Bless You! Romeo-NYC
