Love Is Not Love Poem by Jyoti Patil

Love Is Not Love

Let me not be drawn in the annuls of true love
Love is life they say,
But love is not love until it is mingled with commitment and sacrifice.

Let me not be fastened with the fetters of fanciful love,
Love is life they say,
But love is not love until it is sought no love in return.

Let me not be pushed through in the passage of genuine love,
Love is life they say,
But love is not love until it is tried and tested through the rough weather.

Let me not be drawn in the pockets of pure love,
Love is life they say,
But love is not love until it is proven through difficult times.

Let me not be taken into the clutches of intense love,
Love is life they say,
But love is not love until it is beset with freedom and complete trust.
