Love Story (1) Modern-Day Romeo And Juliet. Poem by U Win Kyi

There was a news about suicide,
committed by a woman who ended her life,
by drinking alcohol and taking sleeping pills.
When she was found out....lifeless and lying still,
her heartbeat and breathing absolutely nil.
Her boyfriend was very very sad,
crying day and night beside her bed.
She was not only his lover,
but also his life saver,
from addiction of illegal drug,
so that a new leaf of life he could start.

She was then sent to a morgue and in freezing point she was kept,
He crawled stealthily into the coffin of her and there together he slept.
After several hours the attendant discovered 2 persons in 1 coffin,
frozen in a loving hugging position.
The boyfriend was unconscious due to hypothermia, (subnormal temperature)
with his brain deprived of oxygen called hypoxia.
He was then sent to hospital,
if lucky he would recover, if unlucky he became vegetable(comatose) .
It was the modern-day Romeo and Juliet,
but I didn't think it was the best.

Life is for the living,
a great agony to the family a suicide would bring.
Life has its ups and downs, sad and happy,
a suicide is exactly not what we need to copy.
