Lover's Hell Poem by Christopher Teale

Lover's Hell

When your eyes I contemplate
Is aroused within my heart
Such a loud and fiery debate
That its most brutally torn apart

And when in a cold afternoon I sit
By the warmth of the crackling fire
By the thought of you, my memory is stirred
And burns in my soul a most terrible desire

For my love screams to be declared
like screams a mad man in his cell
Urging for his secret to be shared

Yet strikes louder still the terrible bell
That seals my lips with insecurity
Dooming my life to a lover´s hell.
