With you
I don't know what's going to hit me
Or what you're going to bring my way
Or what the weather's going to be like

Well I know one thing you're capable of
That's the ability to love

You possess a lover's speed
You're so fast

The shine's rays in my heart have been gone for years
It left me a long time ago
Dullness has been here for me ever since

You say to me
' It's not entirely impossible to love. All you need is some pushing '

So you use your lover's speed on me
Even though I want to try to stop you
You speed past my defenses
And into my heart
Into my system

You take me in your arms
Ever so gently
Working your magic
Keeping me away from harm
