Loyal Allies Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Loyal Allies

Hypothetically speaking.
If one's loyal allies,
Are asked to describe...
Their 'best' attributes.
To have known them to realize.
As being...
A liar, deceiver, racist and a thief.
Creator of division.
And a producer of conflicts.
Immoral and a cheat.
One who bullies and demands,
Others to do the same things too!
While doing this to ruin,
Their own lives.
Proving their loyalty.
Regardless how corrupted,
Their criminal activities...
Becomes publicized.
No one can deny,
The proof and evidence...
Continuing to be revealed.
How would you feel about that?

"Well...
If, as you say,
Is a hypothetical comment made.
Something that does not exist.
Let's us all pray,
Nothing like this ever occurs.
Especially with all the other stuff,
Happening these days...
People are discovering,
Difficult to believe the reality of it.
Not only here but around the World.

And...

Just why would you speak,
Hypothetically about this?
No one who has loyal allies,
Would think these attributes...
Are the 'best' to describe.
Unless they had other attributes,
They would not dare to reveal.
With a keeping to themselves,
As most loyal allies usually do."

So right you are.

"Thank God your depiction,
Is hypothetical to mention."
