The pain,
Sets us back more than keeps us straight,
Puts us down more than brings us up,
Makes us fall
And Keeps us there,

The struggle against us,
Is far more than what we can handle,
We fall and often bleed
But the loss has always hurt us,
Keeping us trapped in our own head,

Making us feel crazy in our own despair,
We have endured a loss,
Like a knife to the heart we have lost someone,

We have lost ourselves,
In the depths of despair
We have lost ourselves
