'' Luck Plays No Part '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Luck Plays No Part ''

luck is a myth,
A trick of the mind,
I'll tell you forthwith,
Do not let it blind.

I'll not wax lyrical,
I'll tell you the truth,
Luck's like a miracle,
It's totally uncouth.

That was lucky,
You'll hear people say,
Not, you were plucky,
Or how you got your way.

Those problems resolved,
Are not down to luck,
It's when you got involved,
A solution was struck.

Your talent and ability,
Yes, your contribution,
It's called versatility,
You find a solution.

You go to great lengths,
To ensure you succeed,
By using your strengths,
Your desire you feed.

You never give in,
You fight to the end,
That's why you win,
You construct and amend.

To solve complications,
Abilities are your art,
You lay the foundations,
