Eden-like, brand new
To do with, as you like
To colour-paint, bright
Hopeful rainbows….
Whatever, dream-day holds
Make this gift-day turn out
A memory, life throughout

This day’s transient
A fleeting moment
Rushing into the ebb of time
Waits no man or rhyme
Etch out on page of today:
Of time with children, you play
Memories of joys, laughter…
Moments with aged mother…
Moments to romance your lover
Precious memories to gather!

Day of happy moments
Precious moments:
Breakfast together,
A piece of music to savor
Richard Cladyman or Chopin
Beethoven or Schumann
A chat by fireside
Lover by your side
A walk hand-in-hand
Lying on beach sand
Reading a story book
Stealing glances and looks
Love letter on the mirror
A candle-lit café dinner
A dance in the pub
A soothing shoulder rub
A kiss on the forehead
Idle talk on the bed
Listening to each other
Watching movies together
Share eating a banana
In kitchen, helping her
Singing lines of a favourite oldie
On sofa, lying on laps of my lady….
Colours of the day, on each page
Blending us beautifully, as we age

A thousand moments to share
Loads of memories to bear
Into the thousand days to come
We’ll sit to ponder things done
Moments before the setting of sun
Treasure our love-making, thus far done!
