Make It Home Poem by Ariadne Andromeda Dioscouri

Make It Home

You go away
So I say I don't want you to stay
You'll get alone with the guy
Why, oh why?

We've been best friends forever
I never just thought, never
I want to share
But you don't seem to care

It must be true
Because it's what everyone says
Being around you
Will never feel the same again

You're obessed
And I'm all alone
Everyone's gone away
Now they do what you say

I'll wait by the phone
For a call that will never come
You go be 'it'
And I'll sit here just feeling numb

The parties were great
But now I'm glad I didn't go
I'm still alive
And you'll never make it home.
