അച്ഛൻ (Malayalam)
ആദ്യാക്ഷരം കുറിച്ചു
തന്നെൻ കുഞ്ഞിളം കൈകളാൽ.
കൂടെ നടന്നും
കൂടെ കളിച്ചും
കാണാ ചൂരലാൽ ശാസിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ.
ഇന്നോളം ഊട്ടിയ
ഉരുളകളെല്ലാം
ദൂരെ ദ്വീപിലെ
രാവും പകലും.
ഇന്നീ കൈകളിൽ
സ്നേഹത്തിൻ പൊതികളില്ല,
നീട്ടി വിളികളുമില്ല.
യാത്ര പറയാതെ
പടികടന്നകലുമ്പോൾ
നീ ഞങ്ങളെ താലോലിച്ചുറക്കിയ
ഉമ്മറതിണ്ണയും ഏകനായി.

Farisa, That is a very beautiful poem. Your love for your father- no, your memories of your father's love for you- overflows as emotions in the poem. exquisite wordings. Do write more and share.
