Male Domination Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I had apprehension
That you were scared to mention
Not opening up fully to the expectation
I have feared that it may end up in relation

Some of the last days were troublesome
You were behaving as if fearsome
I do not know where from I got such hint
But yes it was clear instinct

Your eyes looked naked
As if something was faked
You were making simple excuses
It was as if you wanted some politeness to refuse

What will be my reaction?
If it was to result in such action
It gave me little cold in spine
I was really scared now and felt no fine

No doubt it is always male dominated
But I too have exactly stated
“I shall not cow down to any tactics”
I believe” honest relation must lack no basics”

He was not misbehaving
But something was leaving high and dry
He was seemed as if unsympathetic
I found no reason for such logic

Anyhow, I brushed aside such thought
The situation may be later on fought
If that arose unexpectedly
I was prepared to face it mentally
