Malaria Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Malaria

I was shivering
The dragon was offering
Killer's arm
To cause me great harm

I could guess about Malaria fever
It was approached never
Now I found it with safe refuge
The impact was so huge

The temperature soared
I was laid down on bed
With great cold in body
I gave concern to everybody

It was Sunday evening
Everybody was out with date for dinning
Some doctor was caught for medicine
Luckily one was available to make me fine

The temperature was brought down
I thought the fever had gone
But again in evening it made reappearance
I was again shivering at once

Three quilts were put over body
The balm was applied and spread already
I felt power really power of fever
It was reminding me how quick can be end near
