Manic Moment Poem by scott ghering

Manic Moment

Balancing electricity and converting the breathes of my lawless life, I swallow the essence of deliverance of the unwanted. I pause with the intent of exercising with reliable support beneath me. The energy leaves me in limbo between realities. This anticipation remains in rotation from dusk till dawn. The sun is masked by a impenetrable layer of rejection. I am reborn to feel the stability roam through my scabs of agony. The assurance of clarity injects resistance to the hurt. My universe is tinged with time to absorb the hope for the ensuing flash of lightning. I am at unity once again. I grasp the feeling at the moment of release. The embrace will cripple, in time, but the electricity is tainted with the virtue to shock again.
