Mao And The Tao Poem by Eugene Levich

Mao And The Tao

Mao Zedong, the 'Great Helmsman, '
The Chairman,
Whose portrait hangs in Tiananmen Square,
The 'Gate of Heavenly Peace, '
But that is exactly where
His 'People's Liberation Army' machine gunned
All those Chinese children
Seeking Liberation
From his own horrendous creation
Un-heavenly Un-peace hangs there
In that Square
And that great portrait of Mao
Smelling of Death.
Mao... the Anti-Tao!

i've seen the guy's photo. did he get rich like some other communists supposedly have? but Tao? let me do a little research online (of course) . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Description and uses of the concept The ba gua, a symbol commonly used to represent the Tao and its pursuit. The word Tao (道) has a variety of meanings in both ancient and modern Chinese language. Aside from its purely prosaic use to mean road, channel, path, principle, or similar, [1] the word has acquired a variety of differing and often confusing metaphorical, philosophical and religious uses. In most belief systems, the word is used symbolically in its sense of 'way' as the 'right' or 'proper' way of existence, or in the context of ongoing practices of attainment or of the full coming into being, or the state of enlightenment or spiritual perfection that is the outcome of such practices.[2] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - IT IS NOT A VERY CLEAR CONCEPT, is it? and the word used in various ways. of course you would know better than i. i did NOT even read carefully what i found online. bri ;)
