May Day Trilogy-3 - Poem by Rajkumar Mukherjee

Shackles were broken at Chicago on this day

Labourers, peasants all became gay;

Economic chains were spread as a net

The world covered on Dollar’s bet;

Perestroika gone, uncle Frankenstein—

Now look for Oriental sun-shine.

    I don't fully understand this poem Rajkumar.
    It is well written and visual and I have given it a 10 for both these things. (Report) Reply
