Maybe? Poem by Sandra Feldman

Maybe?

Rating: 5.0

If we stop hating each other,
Maybe we'd get something done,
And make the World a better place
For each and everyone,
Giving, not taking,
Is how Life is crowned and won.

This is the very thing I was getting at in my comment on DARK TIMES! The Dark Times cannot fully overwhelm us if we act on the truths expressed in MAYBE? It's not a blue-print, it's not a resistance manual: other writers can provide those things, politicians should be doing so. What your poem does is provide a moral base for hope and the efforts toward betterment that hope inspires. I can imagine people who take the values of MAYBE? within their souls doing the community work that brings concrete improvements.

Many understand this absolute truth. Unfortunately, the one percent has little clue.

Why not? Its a pertinent and timely message, and a genuine appeal to the entire world which is ablaze today. Thanks for sharing.
