Maybe life isn't about getting through
to another day, day in day out.
Maybe the hurt and pain you're feeling
is just part of your growth
I'm sure it is, even though it sure
doesn't feel that way now.
Maybe hiding your feelings isn't
such a good idea after all
everyone has feelings, everyone feels
pain or heartache.
Maybe we should share the pain and the sorrow
more as well and stop pretending we're okay
when we're clearly not.
