Maybe You'Ll Find You Loved Me Poem by Katie McKenzie

Maybe You'Ll Find You Loved Me

Love hurts
Why does it burn so?
Like when you see that person
Your heart, belongs to you no more

And everywhere I go
Every time I take a look around
Someone is in love
A love that they have found

Can be true
Can be real
For if I tried
It wouldn't be reall

The thing is that I'm not like you
I love the heart
The soul
And not the looks
Or the goal

I love those who I know would never hurt me
And i just sit by and hurt, cause they will never be with me

And every time I see her
Yes HER, cause that’s who I love
Every time she smiles
And every time she utters a word

I die a little
Cause she will never know how much it affects me

She will go and find the perfect person
And I will be left alone

To hurt
And die
And let my heart
Stop beating inside
And loose
My confident stride

Because everyone in this world
Makes me feel useless
And better off dead

I would hurt less I was gone
People say
That up there
Is a better place

So I'm packing my baggage
Deciding whether to leave

And maybe someday
And in the only way
If I leave
That when you’ll find
You loved me

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I write poems, to show who i am. I am bi-sexual, and i'm proud. This poem is the least full of emotion, and hopefully later on i will be able to post some of my work closer to my heart. Even if you are not bi, i think that many people can relate to feeling like your love for someone will never come true.I hope people can relate, and if you don't have anything good to say, please don't say it.
