Meet Me At The Sky Poem by Obed dela Cruz

I glance behind the stars to see how fair you are,
A beautiful flower under the shade of trees.
No storm or dark cloud can lead you away too far
From My Fathering gaze and Love’s delightful Peace.

There may be thunders too loud for your ears to bear,
The sun may scorch too hot for your soft and smooth skin,
Petals may fall in times when no one seems to care
As if a grimace expressed by showing a grin.

But hear Me now My love; open your ears to Me.
I never abandoned you; all I have is love.
Look to the sky and hear the whisper of My plea
Because I want you here beside Me, up above.

Color the universe with Me, color with life.
All forms of light shall be fireworks to celebrate
The day when we shall see the end of all the strife,
That glorious day when I shall go from my long wait.

Past all troubles and lies, past the world that may die,
I will lift you up beyond, meet Me at the sky.
