Meeting With Twig The Fairy Poem by Justin Gildow

Meeting With Twig The Fairy

I suppose silence speaks a thousand words
When it comes to you
Because when I talk to you
I get no response

You tilt your head to the side
When you look at me
I wonder what you think of me
Hopefully, you appreciate me
Hopefully, you enjoy my company

With a movement of your hands
A magical stone appears
You give it to me
I take it
I shake your hand
And you literally shake my hand off
But it's all good

I'll hold on to the magical stone
I'll hold on to the memories you've given me

Who knows if we'll meet again
Or see each other again
After all this
But for it all
It was wonderfully nature bliss
Of what you gave to me
Thank you Twig

Stand alongside of me
And we can both tell
That nature's finally in full swing
It's in full bloom
Right now, it's Spring
Summer will be coming soon enough
For both of our liking
