Mental Frag Poem by Nathan Killeen

Mental Frag

Shards of thought
Flit about
Tearing my apart my mind

Flecks of image
Unconnected
Confusing all of my senses

Tormenting parts
Save me
From my own congealed thoughts

For if I could think I’d miss her
More
Than all these incomplete abstracts.

It’s been too long
The pain’s as much as I can bear
So I fracture myself
So I don’t feel it all as one.
